Have you ever fallen for someone on the Internet and developed a relationship?

We've been talking since the beginning of this year, get along really well, tell each other everything, have similar interests, music tastes etc... we've always been 'attracted' to each others pics from the start... (recent pics, there are pics of him on his friends myspaces etc too so I'm not worried about that..)

He's visiting about March next year.. we recently exchanged e-mails and mobile numbers and I spoke to him the other night and since then we just seem to really be into each other but in a very fun and friendly kind of way (neither of us want to creep each other out I think)...

I will be meeting up with him when he gets here - he's visiting friends so my friends n I will probably meet them out clubbing first (much safer)..

It's never been like... sexual or anything.. just friendly.. What are your experiences with meeting up with someone you've interested in online? Did it work out? Physical diffs from the pic don't worry me, I really love his personality.. :)

oh oh! yes i have =] and im still falling for him! yoor situation seems pretty much like mine.. my guy is comin over next august and it should be great fun!

i think you should really give this a shot, as i know how happy i am (considering iv actually developed a relationship with this guy) knowing him! and take into the account that he knows you by your personality so you should never have to worry about how you look while around him, and that if he falls for you.. which im sure he will seems as you've been talking for so long =].. you'll know he like you for you

im wondering the same thing i met a guy online and we've been texting and talking and IMing for a while. I'm supposed to meet him next month or something but yes I have apprehensions. I think it is possible to fall in love on line but I'll have to update you on how the whole meet and greet goes. Don't worry though i'm not stupid I'm meeting him with a friend.
