My friend and the myspace fakers?

My friend is an internet celebrity so to speak. We all have myspaces and she has over 1,000 friends, shes very pretty. Problem is she makes a huge deal whenever fake profiles using her pics are made. She has a whole clan of "fans" that go and harass these people to no end even after myspace has deleted the profile. I think its mean: these ppl admire her and want to pretend to be her, not that its right, but shouldnt she just delete the profile and let it be? Ive had fakers, I never once had ppl leave them hate comments and all that, I just figure they probably are bored or have ago issues. How should I approach this?

My friend and the myspace fakers?

alot of celebrities.. not only those famous online, but also famous in hollywood have people who create fake pages with them and do the same thing.

If its such a big deal to her, I suggest that she needs to delete her myspace account. Its the only way she is going to get away from this issue.

If she does not want to delete her page, then there's nothing you can do. They have not invaded in her account, so myspace wont do anything to her or her account. They know that there are cruel people out there who create fake pages and try to cause trouble.

This is what she gets for being famous on the internet. She has to deal with it, as hard as it sounds. Tell her to get used to the publicity she is getting.

There was someone who sent a message to everyone saying that a close friend of mine was a murderer and how he killed 57 women and not to add him as a friend or talk to him, although this is certainly not true. They even said that he is one of America's Most Wanted and the police wanted to warn all women to be careful of who they talk to.

People are cruel, and the only thing you can pretty much do is deal with it.
